The responsibility is on you as an investor to be sure whether your cryptocurrency broker is regulated or not, regardless of the claims they make. Thankfully, it is easy to check if your bitcoin broker is regulated by checking on the national financial markets’ regulator in the country your cryptocurrency broker is located (which is, ideally, also the country you are residing in).
Trading CFDs, FX, and cryptocurrencies involve a high degree of risk. All providers have a percentage of retail investor accounts that lose money when trading CFDs with their company. You should consider whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money and whether you understand how CFDs, FX, and cryptocurrencies work. All data was obtained from a published web site as of 01/20/2020 and is believed to be accurate, but is not guaranteed. The cryptocurrency market is insanely volatile. You can make a fortune in a moment and lose it in the next whether you trade Bitcoin, another coin, or even a stock like the GBTC Bitcoin Trust. Consider mitigating risks, hedging, learning some TA, and not “going long” with all your investable funds. TIP: If you trade only the top coins by market cap (that is coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum), or GBTC, then the chances of losing everything overnight are slim (not impossible, but slim). Other cryptocurrencies are riskier (but can offer quick gains on a good day). In general, coins with lower market caps and volumes tend to offer a greater risk / reward.
Forex trading is not taxable, but trading fees are inevitable and the actual cost of each trade remains unknown until it is complete. A broker may offer you a fixed rate per trade or may take fees as a percentage commission based on the value of each transaction. Also, longer trades may attract ‘overnight funding’ fees and there will be the cost of the spread, which will vary depending on the end price.
Trading Forex versus Trading CryptoCurrencies

We can also see that, over the previous two trading months, the Ark market has established a trading condition known as a range bound condition. We can see that the market has been trapped between the downside 1.272 Fibonacci Extension level (drawn in blue) priced at $0.97 as the upper boundary of the range and the downside 1.414 FIbonacci Extension level priced at $0.5222 as the lower boundary of the range.
Crypto such as Ethereum and Litecoin are reportedly ready to weather future market storms.  Whether this means we can anticipate a further cryptocurrency crash, or if they will rise up as the descendants of Bitcoin, will remain to be seen.  Cryptocurrency markets right now are on tenterhooks, even moving into the middle of 2019, though the overall feeling is positive.

As far as tech is concerned, Facebook is one of the world's leading powers so it has a huge influence on how technology is used and perceived. With the tech giant's plans to launch Libra, its own cryptocurrency product, investors are beginning to see digital currency as a serious investment. This endorsement by Facebook not only has the power to sway the average tech user, but it also has the power to sway governments. For example, India is working towards a ban on cryptocurrency. But with Facebook entering the domain, this may motivate other smaller tech companies to follow suit. Placing a ban on cryptocurrencies at a time like this could lead to India missing out on what could be one of the greatest technological advancements of the century. Companies like Visa and PayPal have also shown interest in Facebook’s coin, making it seem even more credible. As a result, institutional investors are taking digital assets more seriously. The recent price movement of Bitcoin and other top cryptocurrencies may lead to a massive rally that could send the top asset over $20,000 if it breaks its resistance at $13,000. This price behavior may mirror December 2017, when FOMO drove Bitcoin into the hands of the average first-time crypto user. That boom saw a combination of numerous new entrants into the market and frequent Bitcoin-related search terms to create an ecosystem that is gradually approaching mainstream status. Although the Bitcoin Google searches haven't started piling up and there isn’t a buying frenzy yet or proof that first-time buyers are jumping into the market, the signs are clear. There have been tons of Bitcoin predictions as well as Ripple, Ethereum, and Litecoin predictions by industry figures. These predictions put the future prices of these assets anywhere from $0 to $100,000 and are not a great indicator of what their future prices will actually be.The 5-figure value of Bitcoin due to recent gains is every bit as exciting as it was when these gains first happened in 2017. Mainly due to institutional investors, the upward price movements are indicative of a bright future for Bitcoin. It also proves that Bitcoin isn’t a dying asset as many may have thought throughout its market correction in 2018.Facebook moving into the cryptocurrency and blockchain space may also act as a catalyst for a massive bull run and better performance for the prices of Bitcoin and top altcoins. However, it's too early to say for sure. It’s exciting to see how the market unfolds and whether Bitcoin can top its 2017 high of $20,236.
A higher volatility means more risk for investors — a greater chance of an exponential upside as well as huge, financially crippling losses. Higher volatility also means less liquidity (ease of trading), because more people are naturally attracted to a smooth marketplace. Low volatility and high liquidity means the forex market can better absorb economic shocks. This benefits the average person — both investor and noninvestor — with relatively stable currencies even in bad economic times.

A recent survey published by bitFlyer Europe suggests that investors are still very much in favour of crypto surviving the next decade.  While cryptocurrency prices may rise and fall, there seems to be a good majority for the survival of alternative currency.  While cryptocurrency charts may suggest things could get a little unpredictable, there’s never been a better time to start looking at the wider market.
Trading forex can be an ultimately rewarding experience, but you must learn the ins and outs first. There is a lot of risk involved and this most definitely outweighs the returns for those who jump the gun and start trading without being fully prepared. Take the time to work on your education - it’s the most important aspect of forex trading.  Knowledge is power, and that power will enable you to make logical decisions and continue trading long past the time when a lot of players have gone bust.
Leverages provide an artificial inflation of your trading capital, by as high as 1000X. So, if a retail trader were to fund with just $1000 and choose the 1000X leverage, that’ll translate to $1,000,000 when executing the trade. So, when your profits or loss come in, they come in as though you were actually trading with that amount. You can see how easy it is to have your account wiped out, right?
Many people claim that Bitcoin is a fluke and the same criticisms that were said about Forex are being brought up with Bitcoin. But as history has proven, both Bitcoin and Forex, despite how new they are in the world of day traders, are here to stay. However, the question still rises, which one is better? Is Bitcoin safer to trade than Forex? Or is Forex better in the long run than Bitcoin?
How to Trade Crypto and Forex! Most wont tell you this........

Both Forex trading and crypto trading carry their own pros and cons and their own risks and rewards. Generally speaking, Forex trading is more stable, more protected, and highly regulated. Crypto trading carries the promise of much larger returns than Forex, at the cost of the stability of Forex. This means that smart and skilled traders with a large appetite for risk can realize much higher profits in crypto than they could in Forex trading, while not dealing with the same institutional involvement.
And you need to have the ability to understand when to buy out and buy in to make the most of this opportunity! The cryptocurrency markets are not controlled by dealers that have access to supercomputers, so that means the area with cryptocurrencies is much more welcoming to retail traders like us in terms of profits. This is a great reason to start trading in cryptocurrencies.
We just had a quite interesting question from a user named Jacob: I noticed in your list it’s stated to never buy a cryptocurrency after a dump… but shouldn’t we be looking for low entries? After the dump I will watch the coin/market for a while to see how low it will get (for fib maybe back down to 23% or so) and then try to buy it there, thinking it will test the higher fib points in the future again. Is this such a bad strategy? Thanks! I was talking about pump-dump coins, and not if for example a… Read more »

"There is a very high degree of risk involved in trading securities. With respect to margin-based foreign exchange trading, off-exchange derivatives, and cryptocurrencies, there is considerable exposure to risk, including but not limited to, leverage, creditworthiness, limited regulatory protection and market volatility that may substantially affect the price, or liquidity of a currency or related instrument. It should not be assumed that the methods, techniques, or indicators presented in these products will be profitable, or that they will not result in losses." Learn more.

A beginner might prefer to use the Square Cash App or Robinhood. Square’s Cash App is an excellent choice for newcomers. Cash App lets you buy/sell/send/receive/store Bitcoin just like Coinbase. Cash App doesn’t offer all the other crypto choices Coinbase does, but it does provide a simple way to get exposure to Bitcoin without having to fully learn too much about crypto wallets and exchanges. Meanwhile, Robinhood is another solution that isn’t a full fledged exchange. While they aren’t offered in all states and unlike Cash App don’t allow deposits and withdrawals, they do offer a larger selection of coins than Cash App and plan to allow transfers in the future.
FOREX vs CRYPTO (Which one should you start trading?)

The year 2019 has been slow for most digital currencies. At the beginning of the year, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Ripple (XRP) maintained the same low price points as the end of the previous year. This was largely owing to a long-running market correction following the post-2017 crypto boom. However, things seemed to pick up in the past few weeks, starting with predictions from industry experts in early June that Bitcoin would hit the 5-figure mark again. In the third week of June, there were signs that the currency might actually scale that point. These signs were confirmed when Bitcoin surpassed $10,000 on June 22nd.Other currencies like Ethereum were not left out, and the bulk of the positive reactions were borne by those who had bought these assets at low prices when a good portion of the community had lost interest in them.So now that prices have skyrocketed, what next?Let’s run through the reasons for this sudden climb in the prices of the top digital currencies and how they may affect the future of cryptocurrency. Before finding out why the top four digital currencies skyrocketed within the last week of June, we’ll look at just how significant these recent gains were.
The hash rate is the amount of computational effort put into securing a cryptocurrency’s block chain. This computational effort is spent by the miners who’re collectively running ledger software to validate blockchain transactions. Miners are rewarded for this effort with newly issued coins in what’s called the blockchain reward. There may also be a transaction fee on top.
Revenge trading starts with negative emotions. Revenge trading generally happens when we lose some trades and we panic.Traders start thinking about how can they lose so many trades and during that phase, we keep on trading until they win. This thing should be avoided as it will only lead to the downside. Trading should be done with technicality and statistics rather than human emotions.

An investment in cryptocurrency can take months or as long as a year before the trader begins to see any profit. Cryptocurrency trading is not meant for every investor. This investment requires a lot of self control and patience to prevent the investor from panicking. It is critical to wait until the right time to make a purchase and selling must be done at an optimal time as well. The investor must also consider there are currently in excess of 1300 cryptocurrencies available. It is extremely difficult to predict which ones will skyrocket and which ones will crash.
Price Reversal Trading - Buy Dips and Sell Rips If learned and applied correctly a reversal Forex trading strategy provides very low risk and high reward. The price reversal is the cornerstone of all trade set-ups including breakout and trend trading. A price reversal is an unnatural trade set-up for many due to its entry at price weakness whether long or short. There is substantial evidence that the prevailing behavior is to enter long positions, or to purchase, near a price peak. This tendency has been documented for at least a few hundred years. Dutch Tulip Bulb trading during the 1600’s is often sited as an early example of this exuberance and resulting price over-extension. Exuberance and price over-extension transform into liquidation selling. Just as those strong emotions of a sure profit belief that flocked many to purchase; the sell-off that follows has strong emotions of fear from the painful loss as price drops. The Reversal is nothing more than taking advantage of this natural behavior of price expansion and price contraction. It is what trading is all about.
